Hope you get this? My station is not much but conditions and the saltwater really help get the signal out. My radio is recipe-6900f and a Wilson 1000 antenna, run at 20- 70 watts. I operate from a city park near my home or the beach at the Gulf of Mexico. Attached are couple picture hope you enjoy. As a mobile some times I setup a 5/8 wave vertical ground plane to work Dx. Today during our QSO I was running the wilson 1000 mobile antenna. the beach is nice and early morning you see much wildlife, coyotes, deer, birds and fishermen. The cowboys were just out riding along the beach a few days ago. The beach is very interesting place to work Dx...you never know what you will see!!
I'm a lifelong Shortwave Listener and Dxer.....I enjoy the contacts made all over the world, the news coming from a local person is always better than the television news. Radio is worldwide communication between people of all walks of life.
